“Life is not about waiting
for the storm to pass
but learning to
dance in the rain”
– Vivian Greene

My Approach

I approach issues with curiosity and openness and encourage clients to do the same.

I believe…

You have the capacity for wellness.

I will work with you to identify your goals in seeking support and finding strategies, approaches and perspectives that align with you and will move you toward your desired outcome.

The body holds immense wisdom.

Part of the work in counseling may be tuning into the messages the body is communicating to live in alignment with sensations and find greater ease.

There is an interplay of biopsychosocial factors involved in wellness.

Counselling can help identify these factors and mobilize existing strengths and supports to help you achieve your goals.

Health and wellness is not passive but a practice.

By engaging in counselling you are investing in your health and strengthening the scaffolding of habits and thoughts patterns which lead to increased wellbeing.

What you are thinking is what you are becoming.

Thoughts are a reflection of where you are and also where you are going.  Counselling can lead to insight which cultivates new ways of thinking.

Change is not possible but inevitable.

Counselling provides an opportunity to focus intentions such that desired change becomes attainable.

I believe you can feel better.
